As a Field Applications Scientist, you will be responsible for executing and supporting collaborative studies done by customers and external users of our technology. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, driven team player possessing strong analytical and communication skills who has past experience in externally-facing roles.
What you’ll be doing:

Develop expert-level knowledge of Flowfect® technology and applications, including sample preparation, post-transfection cell handling, instrumentation, and software.

Onboard and train new customers to ensure proper usage of Flowfect® platform.

Work collaboratively with R&D and Applications Development teams to develop and deploy new applications.

Provide continuous technical guidance to customers on experimental design pre- and post-instrument sale, including guidance on instrument usage, the impact of different processes/reagents on platform performance, and post-transfection readouts (flow cytometry, ELISA, PCR).

Support customers and strategic partners in executing project workplans to ensure high-quality results are generated for a broad range of cell type and payload applications.

Collect and communicate feedback from customers to internal teams to inform product development.

Document customer issues and work with internal teams to propose solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, academic institutions, and industry partners.

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop customer-facing marketing materials and identify new market opportunities.

Ensure excellent laboratory approach, adherence to protocol, and meticulous lab documentation.
What we’re looking for (about you):

Degree in Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

At least 3 years’ industry experience in Field Applications within the Cell & Gene Therapy space.

Ability to learn and remain current on Kytopen solutions and industry trends across different transfection applications.

Strong customer consultative skills.

Ability to travel (up to 50%).

Project management experience is strongly preferred.

Experience in cell therapy/genome engineering, particularly in non-viral solutions and post-transfection processing preferred.

Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, root-cause-analysis, and trouble-shooting skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work within a diverse workforce and be part of a positive and motivational work environment.
