Position Overview

As a Field Applications Engineer, you will serve as a crucial bridge between our valued customers and our engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to support business development efforts by providing exceptional technical support and ensuring smooth communication between customers and our engineers. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure project schedules and deliveries are met according to plan.

Main Responsibilities

Your day-to-day work will include the following:

• Customer Support: Assist customers during the integration phase of Tuxera products by providing clear and practical integration advice. 
• Product Evaluation Support: Facilitate product evaluation testing by coordinating communication between customers and Tuxera engineers.
• Issue Resolution Assistance: Support engineers in resolving issues by gathering and providing relevant information from customer environments.
• Project Coordination: Ensure that project schedules and deliveries are aligned with customer expectations and internal plans.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a professional with both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. You should be able to build trustworthy relationships with customers while effectively supporting internal teams. Experience in customer-facing roles is highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proactive Attitude: Ability to take initiative and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Eagerness to Learn: Enthusiastic about acquiring new knowledge and adapting to various situations.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of software development, Linux operating systems, and open-source technologies is a plus.
• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both written and spoken Japanese and English.

Highly Valued Experience:

• Experience in the embedded systems market, flash memory, or related industries.
• Strong business acumen with a customer-first mindset.
