About the Job:

The Field Access Manager (FAM) is a critical front-line member of the Patient Support Services (PSS) organization and will rely on strong problem-solving skills to support patient access and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The FAM is a critical component of customer support and will be the field subject matter expert on access, reimbursement, and patient support services in their assigned regions. They will work collaboratively across multiple internal stakeholders and will serve as a resource for HCP practices/groups, health systems, and institutions to help address patient access and resolve reimbursement issues.  

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Execute market access strategies to maximize patient access; continuously assess strategies in response to changing market dynamics and payor landscape
  • Provide education to HCPs/office staff regarding access/reimbursement and payor policy updates in support of an HCP’s independent clinical decision to use company products
  • Proactively communicate and educate regarding SpringWorks patient support program, services, and resources offered to HCPs and related office personnel.  
  • Work cross-functionally to craft and implement geographic business plans to support appropriate patient access
  • Collaborate with the patient support program, specialty pharmacies, case managers, and other cross-functional partners, to address escalations and access issues for patients
  • Provide resolution and trouble-shoot field account access/reimbursement issues, needs, concerns and/or challenges
  • Act as a bridge between the customer, the patient services team, and payor account management team to address payor access challenges
  • Champion patient support and reimbursement process improvement
  • Develop local solutions through account and market insight and provide leadership with market intelligence
  • Maintain knowledge base necessary to ensure support of all access and patient/payor support programs and resources offered
  • Utilize data analytics and market research to identify trends and insights relevant to market access
  • Ensure that all market access activities are in strict compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years in rare disease, Oncology or Neurology experience required
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the following: Patient journey navigation, payor, reimbursement, medical billings and coding, specialty pharmacy and distribution, or patient services
  • Proven track record of successfully securing patient access
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance guidelines 
  • Launch experience required 
  • Experience in patient administered products (Part D, oral) 
  • Experience working in a collaborative, dynamic, accountable environment
  • Expert in US market access environment with deep knowledge of recent policy changes, external product launches and current dynamics in Rare, Oncology and/or Neurology
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate into actionable access strategies
  • Proficient in local payor, reimbursement and patient access knowledge with the ability to effectivelyconvey knowledge tokey stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills within a matrix team environment

Location Classification – Remote:

Officially classified as working full-time from employee’s home office within the United States or respected region, with the expectation to travel to SpringWorks Therapeutics offices or other locations on occasion as business needs.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this position is $185,000 – $200,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
