About the LOB:The Manila team will support Trust Services by completing Administrative Account Reviews on Custody, Agency, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA), and revocable trusts.
The team will conduct their review using a number of systems including the Administrative Account Review system and answering a series of questions specific to each account type. Any errors or irregularities are noted through the creation of an Open Item. Once the review is complete, it is submitted to the onshore Trust Administrator who will conduct a fee review and address the Open Items. The AAR process does not involve customer interaction.
Completing account reviews will include: conducting research using account documents as well as other applications and websites, drawing conclusions from the research findings, and capturing the conclusions in the AAR system. The AAR system provides the guidance for the research using a series of questions, based on the account type. In addition, the person will compile a document package from the research to support the conclusions and responses in the AAR system. Continuous learning will be required via a variety of methodologies including formalized courses and on-the-job training.
About this role:Wells Fargo is looking for a Fiduciary Associate Manager for the Administrative Account Review team.
In this role, you will:
- Supervise a team of individual contributor roles with low to moderate complexity and risk in Fiduciary Management Services, promoting growth, profit management, and risk management
- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the function
- Assign accounts and ensure relationships are managed according to fiduciary policies and procedures to ensure satisfactory audits and service standards are met
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the Fiduciary Management Services office
- Develop new business, retain or expand current relationships and coaches on business development and develop investment strategies
- Review documents, negotiate fees, and approve discretionary distributions up to appropriate amount
- Make day-to-day decisions and resolve issues regarding objectives and operations of Fiduciary Management Services team to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Provide fiduciary oversight and answer moderately complex questions regarding trust taxability, document interpretation, and fiduciary risk management
- Collaborate with and consult with all levels of professionals including managers
- Interact directly with external customers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Fiduciary Products
- Be responsible for selection, evaluation, and development of staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Fiduciary Products experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ years of Leadership experience
