As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the accounting activities of our organization. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with Nokia's accounting principles and internal controls, as well as external regulations. You will be a key contributor to our financial operations, working closely with various teams to maintain accurate financial records and reports.
 

Responsibilities
  • Manage and process accounting activities in accordance with Nokia's accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Prepare and submit accurate financial reports within specified timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with external rules and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
  • Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger accounts, revenue, and expense accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses as required.
  • Provide support and guidance to other departments on accounting-related matters.
  • Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Stay updated with accounting software and systems, and suggest improvements or upgrades as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Chinese native or Chinese secondary fluent language skill.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing accounting standards and practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to work.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and ethical standards.
