A Brief Overview
Supports all educational activities in the Divisions of Cardiac Anesthesiology and Cardiac Critical Care Medicine, with primary focus on the divisions’ fellowship programs. Provides support to an ACGME accredited program and a secondary fellowship program. Responsible for all administrative activities related to the fellowship program and education sessions. Responsibilities include activities related to the recruitment of candidates, coordination of interviews, interaction with other training programs and CHOP Graduate Medical Education, coordination of scheduling requests, and assistance in production of the monthly schedules.  Performs advanced secretarial and administrative services; significant independent judgment required. Position provides flexibility for a hybrid work model (on-site/remote).
What you will do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and work product
  • Monitor and coordinate program operations, resources and projects including develop project plans and facilitate the resolution of issues.
  • Enact policies and procedures, and maintain related documentation and databases.
  • Collaborate across teams and serve as the primary liaison for the program.
  • Oversee and participate in team, project and program meetings.
  • Manage and maintain operating budget, supplies and resources.
  • Maintain program metrics and related tools and regularly reports results.
  • Monitor and support related finance, accounting and billing functions.
  • Coordinate information collection, compilation and dissemination as required.
  • Provide advanced administrative support.
  • Perform other duties and projects as required.

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least five (5) years administration, coordination or program experience. Required
  • At least five (5) years in an administrative or coordinator role in a healthcare setting. Preferred

  • Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
