ESS-IT Identity Services team is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to support our Enterprise Federation Service. As a key member of our team, you will apply your IT expertise to design, develop, and implement secure systems infrastructure, including federation services, single sign-on and multi-factor solutions, and Exostar services. You will work with cross-functional teams to extend our federation service capabilities and provide technical support globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and implement federation services for on-premise and cloud environments
- Collaborate with application owners to extend single sign-on solutions to new and existing applications
- Work with SMEs, engineers, and customers to design, develop, and implement secure systems infrastructure
- Provide technical leadership to junior employees and contribute to the development of technical documentation
- Troubleshoot high-level networking issues and perform root cause analysis
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in identity management and security
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an Engineering discipline; OR equivalent work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- 6+ years of overall IT experience
- Experience with Ping Identity Products (PingFederate, PingOne, PingID, PingAccess)
- Knowledge of Multifactor Authentication (MFA) solutions and password-less authentication
- Knowledge of SAML, WS-Federation, and OAuth
- Experience with Exostar, Azure/Entra ID, and Entra Enterprise application configuration
- Experience with troubleshooting Federation Logs
- Familiarity with SIEM tools, such as Splunk
- Knowledge of identity and access management and compliance regulations (CMMC, FedRAMP)
- Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, Python)
- General networking knowledge of large-scale global environments (LAN, WAN, etc.)
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70735 - $120250
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
