Senior Account Executive:

Manages and grows client relationships, leads sales campaigns, and develops strategies to meet revenue goals. Key responsibilities include prospecting new business, negotiating contracts, creating proposals, overseeing cross-functional business partners, using CRM and sales tools to track progress. A bachelor's degree, proven sales success, and strong communication and strategic skills are requirements. Knowledge of Clari, SFDC, Tableau and MEDDICC are a plus. 

Core responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with key and new clients to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies, lead pitches and proposals, and conduct market research to identify business opportunities.

  • Oversee cross-functional teams and coordinate with other teams to ensure customer successes and overall account management success.

  • Negotiate contracts, fees, and rates to close deals and drive revenue growth.

  • Track progress, manage client budgets and billing, and provide detailed reports to leadership (Annual Planning and Quarterly Business Reviews). 

Required skills and qualifications

  • Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven success as an account executive with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Technical proficiency: Expertise in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and other sales management tools and abilities to lead high level use case conversations.

  • Soft skills: Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills are essential.

  • Industry knowledge: Understanding of the specific industry and market trends is crucial. 

Additional attributes

  • Preferred Department of Justice top secret clearance

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment and evolving client needs.

  • Goal-oriented: A driven and motivated attitude focused on achieving targets.

  • Travel: May require some travel for client meetings and industry events.

  • Position is to be filled within the Washington DC Metropolitan area. You must be living within the greater D.C. Area or willing to relocate for this role.

This position is a 60% Base 40% Commissions role and compensation is negotiable based on experience and knowledge.

The annual base pay for this position is: $119,200.00 - $178,800.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
