Arconic is currently in search of Fabricator II to join our Kawneer Team in Visalia. The Fabricator II is responsible to run various equipment and hardware applications as needed. Saws, Shrink wrap machines, punch presses, hardware application and boxing. Also, basic PC experience is needed at various positions. The starting hourly rate for this position is $25.05 hour.

Responsibilities- Adhere to all Kawneer rules and regulations.
- Identifies material by part number and product finish.
- Loads and unloads doors and frames extrusions at saw.
- Stacks and mark material according to job and ship date.
- Reads and interprets take-off sheets, cut lists, and custom shop orders to verify location of hardware.
- Verifies all measurements for accuracy and quality.
- Knowledge and ability to follow the MDR scrap material process.
- Performs quality inspections and reports errors.
- Complete checklists, reports, and logs as needed.
Operate and maintain saws shrink wrap area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install glass tops and protect Door/Frame with packaging.
- Cut and vinyl Glass top.
- Perform JDE transactions for packaging.
- Reads and interprets take-off sheets, cut lists, and custom shop orders to verify location of hardware.
- Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
- Apply Hardware Door and Frame.
- Ability to flex to other areas due to business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- One to six months related work experience is preferred.
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets documents such as, operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondents.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other employees and supervisors.
- Ability to count, to add, to subtract and to multiply simple numbers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with and respond to minor problems in standard work situations.
- Able to measure to 1/32 of an inch.
- Ability to flex to other areas due to business needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to repetitively lift up to 40 pounds or 1/3 of your body weight.
- Able to work 12 hour days.
- Able to wear required PPE.
- Able to bend and twist repetitively.
