On-Site Licensed Mental Health Counselor
MindCare Solutions, is a leader in comprehensive mental health solutions in various settings: clinician owned and operated. We are seeking a master's level mental health counselor (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) that is looking for a partnership in a growing organization with a strong team-mentality working in a corrections setting.
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Okeechobee, FL
Compensation: up to $60 per hour
Position Summary:
- Provide individual and group counseling services to inmates.
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with medical and security staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
- Experience in a correctional setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
