As Senior Finance Business Partner Germany (m/f/d), you will serve as the trusted advisor and strategic sparring partner to the Country Manager Germany. While driving business performance and decision-making for the German organization, you will also be part of a global Finance organization, reporting into the VP Finance and collaborating closely with an international Finance community. In this highly visible role, you will combine commercial acumen, financial leadership, and analytical excellence to influence key business decisions and drive sustainable growth. Working closely with Commercial, Operations, Controlling, Accounting, and Shared Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping business performance and delivering value across the German organization.

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Act as a strategic sparring partner to the Country Manager and leadership team, providing financial leadership and business guidance.
  • Support strategic and operational decision-making through financial insights, analyses, and actionable recommendations.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management processes.
  • Provide transparency on business performance, profitability, financial risks, opportunities, and key value drivers.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality financial reporting in close collaboration with Accounting and Shared Services.
  • Drive profitability, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
  • Develop business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses to support commercial and investment decisions.
  • Act as the key interface and bridge builder between Commercial, Operations, Controlling, Accounting, and Finance functions.
  • Promote financial awareness, accountability, and a performance-driven culture throughout the organization.
  • Challenge stakeholders constructively while driving KPI development, reporting excellence, business intelligence optimization, and effective decision-making.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, Controlling, or similar senior finance roles.
  • Strong commercial and operational finance experience with a proven track record of influencing strategic decisions and driving business performance.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and Excel.
  • Fluent German and English, both written and verbal; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to transform complex financial data into clear business insights, recommendations, and actions.
  • Confident, approachable, and business-oriented personality with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a low-hierarchy environment and actively supports cross-functional teamwork.
  • Strong character with the ability to challenge respectfully and constructively while influencing decision-making at management level.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, manage conflicts professionally, align diverse stakeholders, and act as a bridge builder across the organization.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, cultural awareness, and commitment to delivering results in a dynamic business environment.
