F-35 Structures Fleet Tracking Engineering Lead

Job Description
Applicant will be responsible for leading the F-35 Structures Software Development team in developing current and new toolsets in support of the technical analysis and generation of quarterly Structures fleet tracking reports (Individual Aircraft Tracking, Loads/Environment Spectra Survey) for the Operational F-35 Lightning II fleet.
Typical duties assigned to this position:

• Lead a software team through Agile software engineering design and development
• Employ your expertise, decision making skills, and independent judgment in technical areas
• Lead Design Review activities including generating presentation materials
• Communicate essential information and coordinate with engineering disciplines and functions
• Support the development of program schedules, earned value criteria, and productivity metrics for efficient performance as needed
• Influence and contribute to Software Design and Architectural Decisions
• Ensure the established software development process is implemented successfully

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Programming languages: Python and SQL
• Demonstrated ability to guide individuals through complicated or difficult situations effectively and professionally
• Experience with the full life cycle of software development including performing software testing, validation, and verification activities
• Experience with software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools
• Experience with Agile SW development methodologies
• Prior experience in technical/project team leadership
• The ability to prioritize and delegate tasks to team members to accomplish the required objectives
• Working independently and taking responsibility for the quality of the team's work output

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience of the F-35 ITAR Export Technical Transfer Controller role
• Experience with Integrity Hub data analysis tool and its constituent parts including Integrity Hub Services, Integrity Hub Database, SAPs and F35CLI

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $107359 - $182510

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
