Want to make a lasting, positive impact on the survivability and lethality of pilots going into harm's way? BAE Systems produces the AN/ASQ-239 Electronic Warfare (EW) System for the F-35 Lightning II. Maintaining the F-35's position as the free world's premier multirole combat aircraft requires continuous innovation to stay ahead of the threat. You can make a difference in this effort--join us.
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead new business capture efforts for our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in program management. Specific experience with F-35 RDT&E (Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation) in an industry or government role is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have prior military or civilian experience on the staff of a major command service headquarters.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop and execute capture strategies for new F-35 business opportunities, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business prospects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including US Government officials, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to stay informed about upcoming opportunities and to position our organization for success.
  • Shape and define hardware-in-the-loop testing and advanced EW operations analysis with government stakeholders and internal teams to optimize EW lethality and survivability effects.
  • Provide program management expertise to support the development of proposals, including coordinating with technical teams to develop solution strategies, writing proposal sections, and managing proposal schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective capture plans, including market research, competitor analysis, and customer engagement.
  • Analyze and interpret F-35 program requirements, including RDT&E, production, and sustainment, to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the F-35 program, including its current and future requirements, and the competitive landscape.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies, including identifying and mitigating risks, and developing and executing plans to achieve business objectives.
If you're looking for a role where the work is exciting, where the people are bonded by a shared sense of purpose, and where your effort will have a legacy that extends far beyond any single contract, look no further.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
