Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an F-18 Maintenance Control to support the F-18 program at Naval Air Station (NAS) Joint Reserve Base (JRB) New Orleans in Belle Chasse, Louisiana.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads, plans, organizes and controls the maintenance and repairs and the release of F-18 aircraft.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts and travel for detachments.
- Incumbent shall supervise and coordinate maintenance efforts on assigned shift, to meet the daily flight schedule.
- Serve as subject matter expert to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on matters pertaining to polices, plans and objectives.
- This incumbent must possess a level of experience necessary to inspect all aircraft assigned, certify Aircraft/Engine Logbook entries, and coordinate maintenance control responsibilities.
- Must possess O-level experience as a maintenance control supervisor F-18.
- Must have a thorough working knowledge of the Naval Aviation Logistic Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS).
- Candidate must currently hold and maintain "Safe for Flight" certification.
- Candidate must have good communication skills both orally and written.
- Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
- Inspect the aircraft to certify that all maintenance performed by the team is correct and complete.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at NAS JRB New Orleans in Belle Chasse, LA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Candidate must currently hold and maintain "Safe for Flight" certification.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience on F-18 platform
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Controller
- Willing to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with recent aircraft organizational level maintenance is required.
- Read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring/schematic diagrams, data tables and other specifications to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Fighter Structural modification experience
- Fighter Electrical modification experience

Summary pay range: $98,600 - $133,400
