The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

About the Role
As an Extrusion Quality Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and consistency of the extrusion process and products. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving product quality standards, identifying and resolving quality issues, and implementing quality control measures
Your Responsibilities
- Manage program quality by; establishing front-end quality assurance on new programs; completing Supplier and Customer sampling and control plan requirements; directing the dimensional control of ongoing programs; ensuring that all products shipped meet all Customer dimensional, material and systems specifications or documented deviations to those specifications, all at minimum cost.
- Setup, train and manage any sort activities.
- Conduct Gage R&R studies to assess the measurement system capability and ensure accuracy and reliability of equipment. This includes collecting and analyzing data to determine the variation between the measurement system and the true value.
- Independently evaluate quality systems particular to assigned products, such as control plans, etc.
- Participate as an active member of the Quality team; Assist in GD&T determination. Evaluate SPC (Statistical Process Control) requirements as it relates to production parts. Participate in PPAP (Product Part Approval Process) when required.
- Any other reasonable duty required by Management
Who we are looking for
- Post-Secondary Education College Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate engineering or technical field required
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in production, technical services, quality or related field.

- Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask.
- Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment. Ability to take initiative and recognize needs.
- Capacity to work independently or in a team.
- Exposure to quality standards & practices an asset.
- Sound computer skills, including knowledge of software in current use
- Broad, in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes or techniques. Understanding of lean manufacturing, an asset
