The position
As our new External Security Specialist, you will interact daily with a great variety of internal and external stakeholders, responding to business needs of great variety and many changing priorities. Therefore, your ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and prioritize is key, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage data and reporting within External Security Operations including development and establishment of the reporting setup.
  • Support in the daily operation with a focus on physical security for waste handling and transportation at Novo Nordisk.
  • Develop and implement short and long-term plans to ensure high security standards in collaboration with the external security suppliers.
  • Support in managing the relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service standards.
  • Assist in the review and analysis of security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide support for the overall management of External Security Operations including creating high class PowerPoint presentations, showcasing business models, flows etc..
  • Support driving business and service development within External Security Operations.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Risk Management or another related field.
  • Strong analytical skills for data management and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and business understanding skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Proven experience working with and developing PowerPoint presentations to be shared with internal and external stakeholders and senior management.
  • Preferably knowledge of protocols and risk management and experience in psychical security or a related field.
  • Fluent in English - both verbal and in writing.
  • A clean criminal record and a driver's license, minimum category B, are required. Both should be obtained during the employment period.

About the department
The External Security Operations team, based in Bagsværd within Corporate Facilities, is responsible for ensuring the quality of all external guard services at Novo Nordisk Denmark and overseeing contract management within our security operations. Our collaborative efforts are dedicated to upholding the highest security standards and safeguarding Novo Nordisk's personnel and assets. The position primarily requires physical presence at the office due to our involvement in Frontline Security operations.
