ACDC Express is seeking a driven, customer-focused, and results-oriented External Sales Consultant to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building and maintaining customer relationships, promoting our products and services, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory.
This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys working in the field, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Generate new business through prospecting and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Promote and sell ACDC Express products and services.
- Identify new projects, leads, and sales opportunities.
- Visit customers regularly to provide product advice and support.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
- Complete field sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.
- Provide technical product information where required.
- Assist the Internal Sales team when needed.
Requirements
Skills Required
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- 1-3 years external sales experience.
- Experience in the electrical, hardware, wholesale, or retail industry.
- Valid Code B driver's licence.
- Own reliable vehicle.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace).
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Clear criminal and credit record.
