Join JPMorganChase’s leading global media relations team to assist with a variety of high-profile projects impacting employees, local communities, and shareholders. Support external communications for JPMorganChase’s key corporate functions and assist in planning media announcements and events, conducting research, media monitoring, and other business activities for the broader Global Communications Team.
As a External Communications Analyst within the Global Communications team, you will be part of a team leading external communications campaigns and supporting media engagement for JPMorganChase's corporate functions, including Human Resources, Finance, Investor Relations, Global Real Estate, and the Chief Administrative Office. You will assist the team by preparing materials for announcements and relevant business updates – such as quarterly earnings, Investor Day, the Annual Meeting, investor conferences, and real estate announcements – as well as conducting post-event media analysis and reporting. In addition, this role will support business activities for the broader Global Communications team, such as controls and internal reports.
Job responsibilities
- Draft press releases, website copy, articles, newsletters, executive talking points, weekly press call notes and social media content.
- Monitor media and generate post-event media coverage reports using Bloomberg Terminal, TV Eyes and other search engines.
- Develop transcripts and post-meeting notes for media interviews, conference presentations, project meetings, and communication planning meetings.
- Research and maintain media lists across global, national, local, and trade media.
- Assist with reviewing speaking opportunities for employees in the corporate functions and support ad hoc communications assignments across all lines of business and corporate functions
- Work with internal controls partners to be sure global communications has the proper controls in place.

1+ years of experience supporting communications strategies for corporations, campaigns, or non-profits.
