Zap Energy has rethought the fundamental technology of fusion. Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in:
- Fusion Plasma Diagnostics
- Pulsed Power Systems
- High Voltage Instrumentation
- Liquid Metal Systems
- Computational Plasma Modeling
- Experimental Design and Data Analysis
Depending on your expertise, you may contribute to:
- Leading or supporting experimental campaigns on Z-pinch fusion devices
- Designing and fielding plasma diagnostics (e.g., Thomson scattering, interferometry, spectroscopy, magnetics, neutronics)
- Analyzing experimental and computational data, including error propagation and interpretation
- Publishing and presenting scientific results
- Collaborating with engineering teams on system integration and experimental setups
- You have a strong foundation in plasma physics or related fields
- You’re excited by the challenge of developing fusion energy
- You’re a creative problem solver and effective communicator
- You thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments
