- Vacuum and Insulating Systems (e.g., SF6, polymers, ceramics)
Depending on your background and interests, you may contribute to:
- Designing and testing pulsed power components and systems (e.g., Marx generators, spark gap switches, capacitor banks)
- Developing mechanical assemblies for high-voltage fusion experiments
- Supporting fusion plasma diagnostics and data acquisition systems
- Collaborating on the design and operation of next-generation Z-pinch fusion devices
- Working with high-voltage safety protocols and lab testing procedures
