Export Markets Channel Sales Specialist Sub-Sahara
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Export Markets Channel Sales Specialist for Sub-Sahara countries, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
- Implement a strategic annual export business plan to drive sales growth and maximize demand for prioritized SIBG and TEBG portfolios through distribution partners in Sub Sahara and SADC countries.
- Identify additional opportunities for accelerated growth, which will require intensive travel to countries within the region.
- Proactively lead the joint business planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to enhance customer engagement and identify opportunities in key markets.
- Collaborate with the export operations team to enhance the customer experience and optimize service levels for customers.
- Ensure full adherence to 3M compliance policies and procedures
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Education: higher degree (Bachelor’s)
- Industrial B2B mid-level experience is a must.
- Experience with long-term Sales / Channel projects.
- Willingness for an intensive travel within SADC region,
- Experience in working remotely with cross-cultural stakeholders
- Self-driven and self-motivated focused on achieving sales targets.
- Demonstrate to be capable of independent planning and execution in developing markets
- Fluent in English language
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Ability of speaking a language spoken in the assigned territory will be favourable, but not essential, e.g. French as an optional one.
