Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Construct financial analyses, including building complex models
• Perform technology, industry, and company-specific research
• Draft client presentations, pitch books, reports, letters, or memoranda
• Assist with intellectual property landscape analysis and evaluation of patents/patent portfolios for salability
• Identify and engage contacts at target companies
• Interact with clients and management teams

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• Pursuing undergraduate business degree in finance, accounting or bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, or hard or computer science with applicable work experience
• Relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A, corporate finance, and/or intellectual property preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including advanced understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and flexibility
• Selfstarter with strong sense of ownership and urgency
• Great attitude and client presence
• Ability to go to the office 2-3 a week

• Must be able to work in person in our Chicago, IL office.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $34 per hour. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
