Nike Global Digital Marketing is a diverse, inclusive, innovative, and passionate team. Our role is to serve the athlete at the speed of digital in the spaces & places that matter to them. Delivering disruptive digital strategies to maximize brand concepts in service of our greater vision of making athlete dreams real.

This role reports directly to the Sr. Director, Global Digital Marketing – Brand Initiatives. The role works collaboratively with many functions, including: Brand Management, Integrated Media, Social media, Retail, Comms, Sports Marketing, Creative, and Business leads. The role sits at Nike’s World Headquarters campus as part of the Global Organization, but partners closely with Geography teams in North America, APLA, Greater China, and EMEA.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike’s Digital Marketing team is looking for an experienced, transformative, energetic leader with a passion for sport and sport-culture, a deep understanding of the consumer digital/tech landscape, and bold, disruptive marketing vision.

Ideal candidates have a proven track record for developing and leading transformative, global marketing initiatives in the athlete/sport space – from strategic plan through execution; a desire to be part of a fast-paced, ambitious and high-performing team, hungry to lead the digital marketing industry; and a profound understanding of Gen Z consumer & athletes, including personal curiosity for the (digital) environments where they engage and spend time. Strong storytelling & communication skills, the ability to marry art (taste) and science (data), and a willingness to take calculated risks are also essential for excelling in this role.

Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training.
  • Open to work in Beaverton, Oregon (remote is not an option).
  • 7+ years of Digital Marketing experience (or related field).
  • Experience identifying and managing agencies, vendors & partners to bring strategies/ideas to life.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills with a highly developed ability to cultivate relationships in a diverse and complex organizational landscape.
  • A personal connection to sport and a genuine passion for the Nike Brand, athletes & product.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As an individual contributor, you will lead the global digital marketing offense across our biggest brand moments. You will set a new vision for this offense and bring that vision to life through strategic marketing plans, ideas & execution tied to athletes, sport moments, product launches and campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing big, digital-marketing ideas and articulating them through clear and executable strategic plans.
  • Rallying & aligning x-functional and leadership stakeholders around your ideas through strategic storytelling and the art of presentation.
  • Own the sport moment roadmap and strategy across all fields of play in partnership with brand.
  • Resource & delivery planning required to take your ideas/plans to market
  • Collaborating with and enabling high-performing, creative talent to bring ideas to life for the consumer.
  • Partnering with Geography/local teams and other functions to execute & extend your ideas and plans.
  • Leading and supporting cross-functional, project teams.
