We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer with extensive experience in advanced test platforms, particularly Advantest EXA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test solutions for cutting-edge technologies and ensuring the highest levels of performance and quality for our products. This role requires a deep understanding of test system architecture, including advanced ATE (Automated Test Equipment), and hands-on experience with the Advantest EXA platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Development: Design, develop, and implement test solutions for the Advantest EXA platform, ensuring thorough testing of hardware and software components.
- Platform Expertise: Provide expert-level knowledge and support for the Advantest EXA platform, including back-board and instrument card configuration, probe-card design, and load-board integration.
- Test Execution & Debugging: Execute test programs and troubleshoot issues, ensuring all tests are conducted effectively and any defects are quickly identified and resolved.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and vendors, to integrate test systems and ensure the successful deployment of the Advantest EXA platform.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance test processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of testing procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, results, and any modifications made during the testing process.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all tests comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements, contributing to the overall reliability and performance of the product.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in test engineering, with hands-on experience in advanced test platforms (specifically Advantest EXA).
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Advantest EXA platform, including its hardware, software, and test development tools such as Smarttest8.
- PCB Design Understanding: Experience working with load-board and probe-card designs, with a solid understanding of PCB design for ATE systems.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or test-specific scripting languages (e.g., TDL for Advantest).
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex test issues in both hardware and software domains.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Additional Platforms: Experience with other advanced test platforms (e.g., Teradyne, Keysight) is a plus.
