Patriot Advanced Capability- 3 (PAC-3) is seeking an Experienced Technical Integration Specialist in Huntsville, AL to support our Systems Engineering & Integration team. The PAC-3 program is an air-defense, missile system designed to counter tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and advanced aircraft where Boeing is the original engineering manufacturer of the seeker. Boeing's seekers provide active data to the PAC-3 missile which enables it to acquire, intercept and destroy threats using hit-to-kill technology. The PAC-3 team is organized into Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) consisting of cross functional, highly skilled, and motivated engineers working all levels of the product lifecycle from development to production and sustainment.
The Technical Integrator will support engineering proposal efforts, technical design review process, risk and opportunity boards, as well as other various projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization skills, a demonstrated drive to take initiative, and have strong communication skills with the ability to help influence others.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between various program and engineering functions for proposal development, and responsible for managing proposal timelines for the engineering team to ensure on-time submission
- Review RFPs (Requests for Proposals) to identify technical requirements & deliverables and coordinate with technical leads to gather data, specifications, and estimates
- Supplement engineering teams with support to the BOE (Basis of Estimate) process in drafting, editing, formatting technical proposal content, and ensuring consistency and quality
- Provide coordination with technical design reviews (TDRs) and ensure deliverables are consistent with program objectives. Utilize engineering principles and methodologies to analyze problems and develop innovative solutions, including identifying risks, and generating mitigation plans to keep projects on track
- Collaborate with IPTs, program leadership, and various multi-functional engineering disciplines to develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget management
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in managing projects or leading teams, preferably in defense or aerospace industries
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project management
- Familiarity with project management and office tools (e.g., MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Azure Dev Ops, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited course of study
- 3+ years of experience developing and managing proposals
