Position Overview:

Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking to hire Experienced Software Engineer – Microsoft Power BI Developer for Boeing India Engineering (BIE) Software to join their team in Bengaluru, India. These positions will focus on supporting the Cloud based implementation projects for Boeing business units like BCA, BDS and BGS. We are seeking a skilled and detailed-oriented Microsoft Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. As a PBI Developer, the selected individual will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through the development of interactive dashboards and working closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that drive informed decision-making.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
• Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability.
• Build multi-dimensional data models to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.

Basic Qualification:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of SQL and database management systems, OLAP, and the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework
• Expertise of SQL queries, SSRS, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Basic understanding of data governance and data quality principles
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and data warehousing concepts.
• Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300) or related technologies.

Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 8 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 7 years' related work experience.)
