Position Overview:
Boeing India Software Engineering team is currently looking for an Experienced Software Developer - Full Stack (Java/.net) to join their team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As a Software Developer, you will be part of the Tech Solutions team, which develops software applications and Digital products that create direct value to its customers.
Position Responsibilities:

• Develops, documents and maintains architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems.
• Develops Software high-level and low-level requirements
• Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system.
• Develops, selects, tailors and deploys software processes, tools and metrics. Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations. Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards. Works under general direction.
• Works with other POs and Dev Leads to understand and clarify requirements\
• Works with other developers in their team to achieve development goals and share knowledge
• Works with other developers to act / represent users to ensure team deliverables meet the user needs
• Coaches team members on software development practices
• Creates an environment of learning through doing and knowledge sharing
• Reviews code or design artefacts as needed to ensure high standards are met
• Accepts only well-defined statements of work with high levels of clarity in requirements and design
• Ensures they produce the highest quality code, meeting or exceeding coding standards
• Ensures all code is unit / component / integration tested to high standards before deliver
• Seeks out peer and leadership review to improve their skills and deliverable quality

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement8 years relevant experience in below skill domains.
• Solid programming knowledge in .NET Full Stack(C#)/Java Full Stack
• Strong hands-on using UI Frameworks like Angular, ReactJS
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle etc.) and ORMs (Entity Framework, Dapper). Familiarity with NoSQL databases and concepts.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Good understanding on Nest JS/Node JS is preferred
• Experience in AI/ML programming is desirable
• Knowledge Python,Django,Flask is preferrable
• Cloud Basics: Basic familiarity with one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in DevSecOps tools and processes
• Have exposure in GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, Coverity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and analytically.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Prior experience in Aviation domain is a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Masters and 7 years' related work experience)
