Position Summary
The Sales BDC Representative is responsible for managing inbound and outbound customer communications, generating appointments for the sales department, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the lead-handling process. This role serves as the first point of contact for many prospective customers and plays a critical role in driving dealership sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to internet, phone, text, chat, and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Contact prospective customers to schedule showroom appointments.
- Follow up with unsold customers and previous inquiries.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales process.
- Accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed appointment-setting and show-rate goals.
- Coordinate with Sales Consultants and Sales Managers regarding customer appointments.
- Utilize dealership scripts and processes while providing personalized customer experiences.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, lead generation initiatives, and special events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Previous automotive BDC, sales, call center, or customer service experience required.
- Strong phone, text, email, and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience working with CRM systems preferred.
- Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet applications.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Automotive dealership experience.
- Knowledge of CRM software such as VinSolutions, DealerSocket, Elead, or similar platforms.
- Proven track record of meeting appointment or sales goals.
