Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Demand Forecaster to support our business in Mesa, AZ. This organization supports BGS-Government Planning and the data analyst will apply statistical and other analytics techniques to assist with producing within the fast pace environment of aerospace.
A successful candidate will understand the importance of data analytics as these positions will focus on working directly with the demand planning, new business, and the Asset management team to perform statistical and mathematical data analysis to enable the BGS business to meet their organizational goals.
Position Responsibilities:
- Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving

- Assess performance of models and analysis and confirm that business objectives were met
- Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment
- Builds and manages data sets/modeling records to run models and simulations
- Identify process and system improvements and support business decisions
- Gathers, cleans and verifies accuracy, and analyzes data to develop and manage multiple data sets
- Run demand forecasting, strategic optimization, initial spares models and logistics simulations on complex projects
- Analyzes, manipulates, updates and optimizes models
- Uses models to estimate resource needs
- Uses tools, models and simulations to identify process and system improvements
- Assesses supply chain practices to improve cost and cycle time
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Data analytics
- Experience using or applying statistical and mathematical concepts to measure performance against projects to ensure a high-quality deliver
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced production environment
- Programming experience in Python
- Experience with statistical software (e.g., R) and database languages (e.g., SQL).
- Strong team player and passion to execute projects with a focus on customer and value
- Bachelors or Master’s in a computer science, economics, quantitative finance, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or related field of engineering
- Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience

Summary Pay Range; $70,550.00-$95,450.00
