As an Experience Designer Senior Associate in Payments Experience Design, you will shape end-to-end enterprise payment experiences that balance business goals and customer needs, informed by user research and insights. You will work as part of a collaborative design and research practice, partnering closely with product, engineering, data, and research to deliver inclusive, accessible solutions and improve our offerings.
This role blends strong experience design craft (interaction design, information architecture, visual design, storytelling) with an implementation-aware mindset. You will think in components, states, patterns, and behaviors to preserve design intent from concept through build, and use AI-assisted workflows responsibly to accelerate exploration and prototyping while maintaining a high bar for quality and accessibility.
Job Responsibilities
- Design elegant solutions to interaction and workflow problems and ensure consistency across products and platforms
- Apply information architecture and storyboarding to improve navigation, findability, and usability in complex enterprise experiences
- Create and iterate on wireframes and prototypes at the right fidelity to align stakeholders and de-risk implementation
- Define behavior across key states and edge cases (loading, empty, error, permissions, data changes) and document intent clearly for engineering
- Work within and contribute to a component-based design system by applying patterns consistently and specifying component usage (variants, states, constraints)
- Use qualitative and quantitative inputs to inform decisions, including interpreting complex data and turning it into actionable insights
- Apply inclusive design and accessibility guidelines throughout the process, partnering on validation as needed
- Operate iteratively by incorporating feedback, research insights, and product constraints into improved outcomes
Use AI-assisted design and development workflows to accelerate exploration (e.g., generating variants, summarizing insights, drafting UX copy) while ensuring accuracy, data sensitivity, and accessibility
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Applied experience in UX, product design, interaction design, or a related role focused on improving digital products and services

- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex information and data and translate it into clear experience decisions
- Proficient understanding of inclusive design, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies, with experience delivering accessible digital experiences
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI-assisted tools into a design workflow responsibly to increase speed and quality, with attention to data sensitivity, accuracy, and accessibility
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort with critique and ambiguity
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
