Location – Mississauga, ON

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Expeditor is responsible for the delivery of Goods and Services for non-complex Purchase Orders.

Your role within the team:

• Expedite standard/non-complex Procurement packages, ensuring all goods and services are received in accordance with the Purchase Order (PO) Schedule.
• Coordinate and Interface with key stakeholders, including Suppliers, Requesters, Project Manager, Shipping/Receiving and Accounts Payables.
• Review and Approve supplier invoices.
• Provide monthly accruals to Project Controls to document work in process against PO milestones.
• Ensure change control measures are in place for PO’s (Design or Engineering Changes) and issue Change Orders as required.
• Coordinate with Receiving to ensure all PO deliverables are received.
• Ensure PO’s are closed in a timely manner.
• Complete supplier scorecards to document performance of a PO.
• Process returns and warranty claims.

The ideal candidate:

• Post-Secondary an asset.
• Minimum 5 years purchasing experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, invoicing, Levels of Authority, Ethics/Compliance.
• Experience in Quality program standards such as ISO 9001 is an assess.
