INTECH Process Automation is seeking a seasoned Expeditor to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The Expeditor will be Responsible for expediting materials, equipment, and services to ensure on-time delivery in accordance with procurement schedules, purchase orders and project requirements. Coordinates with vendors, buyers, logistics, inspection teams, and internal departments to identify and resolve delivery risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor procurement schedules, purchase orders, and delivery milestones.
- Follow up with vendors on manufacturing, inspection, documentation, and delivery status.
- Identify delays, constraints, and schedule risks and initiate corrective actions.
- Coordinate vendor documentation, manufacturing progress, and inspection release.
- Track material readiness, packing, dispatch, shipment, and delivery.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Buyers, QA/QC, Inspection, Logistics, Engineering, and other involved departments.
- Maintain accurate expediting reports, status registers, delivery forecasts, and action trackers.
- Escalate critical delays and support recovery plans to protect project schedules.
- Verify vendor commitments against PO requirements, specifications, and agreed delivery dates.
- Support resolution of technical, commercial, inspection, and logistics interfaces affecting delivery.
- Maintain complete expediting records and correspondence for reporting and audit purposes.
- Comply with COMPANY procedures, HSE requirements, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree, diploma, or professional certification appropriate to the assigned function.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or industrial projects, including at least 3 years in expediting/procurement/materials functions.
- Strong experience in vendor expediting, procurement schedules, PO follow-up, and delivery tracking.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, inspection, documentation, logistics, and material delivery processes.
- Ability to identify and manage schedule delays, risks, and recovery actions.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, buyers, QA/QC, inspection, logistics, and COMPANY/client teams.
- Proficiency in expediting reports, status registers, trackers, and progress reporting.
- Good communication, coordination, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Working knowledge of Oil & Gas procurement and contractual requirements.
- Familiarity with ERP/CMMS/procurement systems and MS Office is desirable.
