Description du poste : Le rôle du titulaire consistera à charger, décharger, déplacer, expédier et recevoir les produits et les stocks en toute sécurité.

Responsabilités professionnelles 

  • Travaillerez en étroite collaboration et en équipe avec les chauffeurs pour assurer la livraison efficace des produits en toute sécurité
  • Manipulerez les matériaux à la main et à l’aide de l’équipement adéquat 
  • Chargerez, déchargerez, déplacerez, expédierez et recevrez les produits et les stocks en toute sécurité
  • Vous assurerez que les commandes sont correctement cueillies, étiquetées et contre-vérifiées
  • Conserverez votre lieu de travail propre et bien organisé dans le magasin et la cour
  • Respecterez rigoureusement l’ensemble des règlements, des règles et des lois concernant la santé et la sécurité
  • Exécuterez d’autres tâches au besoin

Qualifications professionnelles 

  • La force physique, l’endurance, et la capacité de travailler en hauteur
  • Une formation sur la prévention des chutes/le travail en hauteur — un atout (formation possible)
  • Un permis d’opération de chariot élévateur valide, un atout (formation possible)
  • La capacité de soulever, de pousser et de transporter de 80 à 100 livres à répétition
  • De solides aptitudes au service à la clientèle
  • Une expérience de travail en entrepôt et de conduite de chariots élévateurs — de préférence
  • La connaissance du secteur de la réfection de toitures, un atout
  • Autorisé à travailler au Canada

Job Summary : Safely load bundles of shingles and related products to the roof. Safely load, unload, move, ship and receive product and inventory.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products
  • Working closely and co-operatively with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product
  • Handling material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment 
  • Safely loading, unloading, moving, shipping and receiving product and inventory
  • Ensuring orders are picked correctly, tagged and double checked
  • Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store and yard
  • Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications 

  • Requires physical strength/stamina and the ability to work at heights. 
  • Fall Protection/Working at Heights training - an asset (can be provided)
  • Valid Forklift License - an asset (training can be provided)
  • Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - Preferred
  • Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
  • Authorized to work in Canada
