Job description:

StormWater Pros is seeking a motivated and reliable Existing Site Lead to perform and support field operations involving camera inspections, stormwater infrastructure maintenance, and general site activities. This position is hands-on, fast-paced, and vital to ensuring job site efficiency, equipment readiness, and safety. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, works well with others, and can be trusted to complete tasks with minimal supervision while representing the company professionally in the field.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; no DUI convictions.
  • Successful completion of a required drug test and background check.
  • Construction experience required; stormwater, utility, maintenance, or infrastructure experience preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and punctuality.
  • Safety-oriented with a commitment to following all safety standards, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Physically able to lift, bend, climb, and perform manual labor tasks.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the company shop.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Field Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist with field work related to stormwater infrastructure inspection, maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction activities.
  • Assist with camera setup, cable management, and safely lowering equipment into manholes.
  • Assist with assigned job tasks and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
  • Support daily site operations and communicate with supervisors and project managers as needed.
  • Take initiative and help identify and resolve routine field issues.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with crew members, supervisors, customers, municipalities, and contractors.
  • Provide guidance and support to crew members when needed and lead by example in safety, quality, teamwork, and productivity.
  • Complete required field documentation, reports, and project records.
  • Represent the company professionally in the field.

Equipment & General Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for assigned vehicles, trailers, tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Assist with safe equipment handling and basic operation as directed.
  • Maintain vehicles, trailers, equipment, and facilities through regular cleaning, organization, and basic upkeep.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow direction, work independently when appropriate, and contribute positively to a field crew.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous field experience in construction, stormwater, utility, maintenance, or infrastructure.
  • Experience working around heavy equipment or underground infrastructure.
  • Previous experience assisting with or supporting field crews is a plus.
