Exercise Physiologist- Heart Station Outpatient Pavilion
Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
The exercise Physiologist provides quality patient care through setting up and supervising, stress tests in Heart Station and Nuclear Medicine. Responsibilities include demonstrating clinical knowledge in physical assessment, performing high quality cardiology stress testing and 12-Lead EKGs, knowledge in EKG rhythms and kinesiology/exercise science, and providing clerical support among other duties. This position supports the mission, philosophy, and objectives of VHC Health.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology or in a related field is required.
Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Two years of experience in cardiovascular stress testing or cardiopulmonary rehab is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
ACLS certification is required.
Certification in Cardiopulmonary Clinical Area or certified Exercise Physiologist is preferred.
