The Intern
- Works under the supervision of a department leader or designee to complete assigned duties.
- Assists with operational, administrative or professional tasks aligned with department needs and the intern’s academic program.
- Observe, document, and communicate work progress, findings, or issues to the supervising leader or team.
- Interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization using appropriate communication methods.
- Participates in staff meetings, project meetings, and interdisciplinary discussions as requested.
- Proactively seek out learning opportunities, manage time effectively, and appropriately prioritize assignments.
- Follow all organizational policies, procedures, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements.
Education: 2 years of high school required. Some internships may require a bachelors degree; or enrolled in and nearing completion of an undergraduate degree or terminal degree in a field relevant to the internship
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Clinical interns may be required to be enrolled in an accredited professional program (e.g., pharmacy, nursing, allied health) and meet regulatory or licensure-related requirements.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work efficiently, manage time wisely, and follow policies and procedures with minimal supervision. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and willingness to learn. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Must be at least 16 years of age. Assignments that use chemicals or power tools require intern to be at least 18 years of age.

Compensation Range:
$15.00 - $21.07Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
