Job Description: Associate - Supply Chain
Location: GCC (Global Competencies Centre), Novonesis.

Role Overview:
The Associate – Customer Service will support key activities within the Order processing (order management) supply chain process, ensuring seamless order management, backorder resolution, customer query handling, and compliance with company policies. This role involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing order fulfilment, and contributing to continuous process improvements. ________________________________________
Key Responsibilities for Senior Associate
• Receive customer orders, check stock availability, credit and payment status, and enter orders in SAP.
• Manage day-to-day customer queries, complaints, and issues related to purchase orders and sales order fulfillment.Troubleshoot sales orders, identify areas for enhancement, and implement process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and ensure smooth order processing.
• Escalate risks that may impact timely order completion.
• Ensure master data accuracy, including Customer Master Data, Bill of Materials, and Material Extensions in SAP.
• Support customer queries related to orders, shipments, invoices, and documentation.
• Generate and analyze reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support decision-making.
• Assist in documentation management and ensure operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with planners, customer service representatives, and logistics providers to optimize material movement and reduce costs.
• Process customer invoices (SAP billing) and ensure timely delivery of products and documents.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Contribute to process optimization initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Provide support to associates and assist in training new team members.
• Follow QMS procedures and SOPs for daily operations.
• Support the Front Desk CSR team to ensure a good customer experience.
• Flexible to work in shifts.

Key Competencies & Skills:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in supply chain operations, customer service, order handling, transportation, or backorder management.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies.
• Proficiency in SAP R/3 SD, CRM, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other supply chain management tools.
• Experience in communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
