Emerson offers an exciting opportunity for an Executive/Senior Executive - General Administration & HR. This role entails aligning HR practices with the business needs of the manufacturing unit, supporting end-to-end processes, and encouraging a positive work culture. This role will also collaborate with Mahindra World City (MWC Site) HR team to maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies while promoting employee engagement, development, and well-being.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Coordinate leadership visits and manage all aspects of site administration, ensuring executive engagements and site operations run seamlessly.
  • Oversee facilities administration while delivering comprehensive employee support services, including workplace safety, infrastructure readiness, and employee welfare.
  • Manage vendor relationships and administer the contract workforce, ensuring compliance with company policies and smooth vendor operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee documentation while providing consistent administrative support for HR and operational needs.
  • Support talent acquisition activities and manage employee lifecycle processes, from onboarding to exit formalities, ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Administer learning initiatives and performance management programs, including training coordination, appraisal cycles, and skill development activities.
  • Drive employee engagement programs and facilitate effective communication support, fostering a collaborative and motivated workplace culture.
  • Handle payroll operations, monitor attendance systems, and provide support for HCM platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance in workforce data
  • Check and verify all administrative invoices to ensure accuracy before processing them for payment.
  • Serve as the admin coordinator with FCV BU (stationed at MWC PRM) to ensure seamless execution of facilities and employee support requirements across the site.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Good understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance applicable to manufacturing organizations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Good organizational and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with HRMS and payroll systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to prepare and interpret HR reports.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • MSW/MBA with solid experience in Human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, statutory compliance, and industrial relations.
  • Experience in facilitating learning and development programs.
  • Proficient in Tamil and English (knowledge of other regional languages is an added advantage).
