Plans and monitors daily, weekly, and monthly production for modular furniture manufacturing. Coordinates materials, drawings, cut-lists, manpower, machine capacity, and cross-functional dependencies across design, purchasing, stores, production, quality, and dispatch. Tracks plan-versus-actual output, bottlenecks, shortages, delays, machine utilization, and order completion. Prepares PPC/MIS reports in Excel or ERP systems, supports corrective actions, and recommends process improvements to increase productivity and on-time delivery.

The PPC Executive will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring production activities to ensure that customer orders are completed on time, as per required quality standards and with optimum utilization of manpower, machines and materials.
1. Production Planning- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on confirmed orders and delivery requirements.
- Review production drawings and order requirements before scheduling production.
- Plan production activities across CNC cutting, edge banding, drilling, assembly and finishing.
- Prioritize production orders based on delivery commitments, material availability and production capacity.
- Monitor planned production against actual output and identify deviations.
- Prepare and review Material Requirement Sheets (MRS) based on production requirements.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores to ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Identify material shortages in advance and highlight potential production delays.
- Track material availability against planned production schedules.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for material substitutions or urgent requirements when required.
- Track Plan vs. Actual production on a daily basis.
- Monitor order-wise production status and pending quantities.
- Identify bottlenecks, delays and capacity constraints affecting production.
- Escalate production deviations and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, pending orders and completion status.
- Review production drawings received from the Design team for completeness and production feasibility.
- Coordinate with Designers to clarify technical issues before releasing jobs for production.
- Prepare or coordinate cut-lists based on approved production drawings.
- Ensure required production information is available before releasing orders to the shop floor.
- Plan production based on available machine capacity, manpower and material availability.
- Coordinate manpower and machine requirements with the Production team.
- Identify capacity constraints and recommend changes to the production sequence.
- Support efficient utilization of CNC and other production machinery.
- Assist in balancing workloads across production processes.

RequirementsRequired Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Production Planning & Control (PPC).
- Good knowledge of BOM, MRS, cut-lists and material planning.
- Understanding of modular furniture/panel-based manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of CNC cutting, edge banding, drilling and assembly processes.
- Ability to read and understand production drawings.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel for planning and MIS reporting.
- Experience with ERP/PPC systems is preferred.
- Exposure to IMOS, Cabinet Vision, CutRite or similar manufacturing software will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in PPC/Production Planning, preferably in modular furniture, cabinetry, interior manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Candidates with prior shop-floor production experience along with PPC experience will be preferred.
