Executive Manager – Regional & Agribusiness Banking

Together, we're leading growth across Southwest WA.

Your New Opportunity

As Executive Manager for Southwest WA, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of business banking across one of Western Australia's most diverse and strategically important regional markets.

We're casting the net wide for the right leader. Whether you're based in Bunbury, ready to relocate, or happy to commute from Perth or beyond, we'd love to hear from you. What matters most is finding a suitably qualified leader with the expertise, drive, and commitment to invest in the South West's growth story – wherever your journey begins.

This is a hands-on role that will see you travelling regularly across the region, staying close to our customers, our people, and the opportunities ahead. You'll be a visible, engaged leader who knows their stuff and is genuinely energised by getting out into the market.

Region

The Southwest represents a highly diverse and economically significant segment, spanning the major regional centre of Bunbury through to established agribusiness communities, coastal towns, and rural hubs across the region.

From the industry and connectivity of Bunbury to the renowned agriculture, viticulture, and tourism of the broader Southwest, this is a region that offers both professional opportunity and an exceptional quality of life.

Underpinned by a strong mix of agribusiness, commercial and small business activity, the region is supported by established industries, ongoing infrastructure investment, and population growth. Its proximity to Perth and connectivity to key transport corridors and export markets creates strong momentum for continued expansion and deeper client engagement.

Our established presence across the region plays a pivotal role in unlocking growth and strengthening our locally connected offering.

Team

This Executive Manager role provides a unique opportunity for an emerging leader to step into executive management and shape our business. You will lead a diverse team dedicated to delivering outstanding outcomes for business customers and local communities. You'll be responsible for cultivating new relationships, building local capability, and establishing the foundations for long-term success.

This is a growth-focused, high-profile position with significant scope. It’s ideal for a leader who is ambitious, adaptable, and ready to make a meaningful impact in a region full of opportunity.

  • Champion customer success by identifying opportunities and delivering tailored financial solutions
  • Drive strategic growth using deep market insights and commercial acumen
  • Foster a culture of excellence through coaching, mentoring, and capability development
  • Represent CommBank as a key regional ambassador, building strong relationships with clients and the broader business community, with regular travel across the Southwest
  • Navigate complexity with confidence, structuring and negotiating sophisticated business solutions

What You'll Bring

  • Proven leadership experience in business, commercial or agribusiness banking
  • Deep knowledge of the market and the confidence that comes from genuinely knowing your industry
  • A passion for developing people and building high-performing teams
  • Strong credit and risk expertise, with a sharp commercial mindset
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and a customer-first approach
  • A track record of driving business growth and delivering strong results
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly across the region to support our customers and growth ambitions
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce or Agribusiness (preferred)
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Why This Role?

This is more than a leadership position—it's an opportunity to make a lasting impact in a region that matters. Wherever you're based today, you'll join a team committed to innovation, inclusion, and supporting the success of regional and agribusinesses across Southwest WA.
