We are looking for a dynamic, compassionate, and highly organized Administrator to lead our incredible team of Caregivers, Culinary staff, and Housekeepers.
The Role at a Glance-
The Captain of the Ship: You will oversee the daily operations, regulatory compliance, and overall success of the Prairie Ridge buildings.

Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of staff. You will foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and fun.

Operational Excellence & Compliance: Ensure the facility meets or exceeds all state and local regulations for assisted living. You will manage audits, safety protocols, and quality assurance.

Resident & Family Relations: Be the friendly, approachable face of Prairie Ridge. You will build strong relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Financial & Occupancy Management: Oversee the community's budget, manage resources effectively, and conduct warm, inviting tours for prospective residents and their families to maintain healthy occupancy.

Community Engagement: Coordinate with local healthcare providers, vendors, and the broader community to ensure our residents have access to the best resources.

The Experience: Proven leadership experience in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care environment.

The Credentials: Degree in healthcare or related field with experience in Health Care, completion of a Department approved Administrators training course, or a Nursing Home Administrator License

The Vibe Check: You are highly organized, calm under pressure, and deeply empathetic. You don't hide in an office; you love walking the halls and being visible to your team and residents.

The Basics: Strong computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a solid understanding of healthcare and HR practices.

Reliability: Ability to pass a comprehensive state background check and be available for on-call.

Skills Required

Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare is a private, non-profit corporation providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient behavioral healthcare services, including substance use treatment, mental health therapy, and problem gambling treatment for adults and children in North Central Iowa. Its mission is to empower individuals to live healthy, purpose-filled lives on their terms.
