About the Role
In this role, you will lead Data and Analytics driving the organization’s data strategy, governance, engineering, analytics, and integration initiatives. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data solutions, ensure data quality and compliance, and enable business intelligence for strategic decision-making. The role will build a team and lead a team of 15-20 employees.
What You Will Do
Data Strategy & Governance
Develop and implement enterprise-wide data strategy and governance frameworks.
Oversee SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance.
Lead ETL processes and data stewardship initiatives.
Drive enterprise-wide data initiatives that directly influence strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and digital transformation across multiple business units.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data governance, analytics, and integration efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Data Engineering
Design, develop and manage data architecture and engineering teams.
Oversee implementation and optimization of SAP BW/4HANA and Snowflake platforms.
Ensure scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines.
Analytics & Business Intelligence
Lead analytics and BI teams to deliver actionable insights using SAP Analytics Cloud and Qlik Sense.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements.
Drive adoption of advanced analytics and data visualization tools.
Integration
Oversee integration of data across systems using SAP Integration Suite and middleware solutions.
Ensure seamless data flow between enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
Leadership & Collaboration
Mentor and develop data and analytics talent.
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Collaborate with IT, business units, and external partners.
Partner with senior leaders across business units to shape data-driven strategies, influence decision-making, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
Lead cross-functional collaboration and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of data solutions and alignment with enterprise priorities.
What You Need to Be Successful
20+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or related roles.
Proven leadership experience in managing data teams and projects.
Experienced in Data Platforms like SAP BW/4HANA, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, MDG, BI tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Qlik Sense, ETL Tools and integration technologies.
Strong understanding of data governance, data engineering, and BI best practices.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points if You Have
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience in portfolio management, Automation, AI/ML technologies, SAP BTP etc.
Experience in working in a global environment.
Strong interpersonal skills

Willingness to travel up to 5%, domestically and internationally.
Willingness to work in an office in our Bangalore, India location, or from a home office with travel to site on demand.
