As an Analytics Solutions Director at JPMorganChase within the Commercial and Specialized Industries team, you will lead a team of analytics professionals and a portfolio of reporting and process improvement initiatives that strengthen business performance. You will partner closely with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable analytics, deliver automated reporting and visualization, and reinforce best practices in data quality, documentation, and workflow automation to support strategic decision-making.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of analytics professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
  • Oversee a high-volume, high-complexity reporting and analytics portfolio, applying strong project management practices to drive timely and accurate delivery
  • Define, design, and develop automated data solutions to streamline reporting and generate actionable insights
  • Translate business needs into intermediate or complex analytical designs aligned to organizational goals
  • Present recommendations and insights to leaders and partners, clearly communicating implications and using data visualization best practices
  • Champion data quality, validation, and documentation standards across recurring reports and processes
  • Guide the team in building, troubleshooting, and optimizing workflows and automated reporting solutions
  • Stay current with analytics best practices, tools, and technologies to continuously improve team capabilities

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience leading analytics initiatives and managing a portfolio of reporting and process improvement work
  • Bachelors degree in a related filed like analytics, business or software engineering.
  • Experience leading, onboarding, training, and supporting team members in analytics best practices
  • Proficiency with SQL and Python for data analysis, transformation, and automation
  • Hands-on experience with analytics and reporting tools such as Alteryx, Sigma, or Qlik (or comparable platforms)
  • Experience with Large Language Models and related advanced analytics techniques applied to business problems
  • Knowledge of data governance concepts, data validation methods, and documentation practices
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including translating business needs into actionable analytics and communicating results clearly
  • Experience implementing automated reporting and repeatable workflows with documented controls

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in Commercial Banking or a closely related industry
  • Experience with robotic process automation or workflow orchestration tools used to improve operational efficiency
  • Experience designing scalable dashboards and self-service reporting for business users
  • Experience establishing team standards for analytics delivery, quality assurance, and documentation
