About the Role  

The Ogilvy Indonesia team is expanding and seeking to build a pool of talented candidates for the position of Executive Creative Director.
We are seeking an experienced Executive Creative Director (ECD) to lead and drive creative excellence across all channels in a dynamic and fast-paced advertising agency environment. The ECD will oversee both ATL (Above The Line) and digital creative initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of creative output. As a direct report to the Chief Creative Officer (CCO), the ECD will work closely with the CCO to shape the agency’s creative vision, providing strategic and hands-on leadership. This role demands a collaborative partner who can contribute creatively and support the CCO in driving the agency's creative agenda.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and inspire the creative team to develop innovative, impactful, and strategically aligned campaigns across ATL and digital platforms.
  • Work as a close partner and collaborator with the CCO, ensuring alignment on creative vision and strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality, on-brand, and on-time delivery.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to senior and junior creative staff, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring effective communication, presentations, and the delivery of creative solutions that meet client needs.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in advertising, marketing, and digital technologies to drive fresh ideas and creative solutions.
  • Collaborate across departments such as strategy, production, and digital to ensure the delivery of integrated, cohesive campaigns.
  • Ensure that all creative work adheres to agency standards and resonates with the target audience across all channels.
  • Represent the agency’s creative capabilities in new business pitches and at industry events.
  • Act as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to the agency’s overall vision, strategy, and growth.

What You'll Need

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior creative role within an advertising agency, with a focus on both ATL and digital campaigns.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative, high-quality work across multiple platforms and industries.
  • Proven track record in leading and executing successful campaigns across a wide range of media.
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team of creative professionals.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership, including the CCO, and clients.
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining a strong creative vision.
  • Solid understanding of digital trends, technologies, and advertising platforms.
  • Experience in client management and the ability to lead presentations and discussions with top-level executives.
  • Passionate about creativity and staying ahead of industry trends and innovations.
