About this Position:
This is not a typical assistant role. You’ll work directly with a solo physician in a functional medicine practice — someone who values precision, trust, and a calm, well-run environment. You’ll be the person who keeps everything moving, from patient experience to daily operations.
What You'll Do
Operations
- Manage scheduling, patient flow, and daily operational priorities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming calls and patient inquiries
- Convert prospective patient inquiries into booked complimentary consultations
- Verify that scheduled supply orders have been received and inventory remains fully stocked
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and financial record keeping
Executive Support
- Anticipate needs and support day-to-day priorities with minimal direction
- Represent the office professionally in all communications and interactions
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and logistics as needed, including occasional personal tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated experience supporting a high-performing executive or comparable principal
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and professional demeanor
- Background in sales, patient conversion, or consultative phone communication preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe, and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Highly organized, discreet, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
