Position Summary - Compensation - $50,000 - $60,000
The Buhai Center is seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director, assist with Board relations, provide front office and administrative support, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.

This is a highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, working with diverse stakeholders, and contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities
The Executive Assistant will provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director, including assistance with scheduling, meetings, correspondence, and special projects.

This role will also manage front office operations, including reception coverage, visitor assistance, phone support, mail processing, and occasional client intake assistance.

The Executive Assistant will serve as the staff liaison to the Board of Directors by coordinating meeting logistics, preparing materials, maintaining board records, and supporting board member engagement.

Additional responsibilities include supporting organizational operations through assistance with event coordination, records management, finance, human resources, technology, and general office administration.


Requirements

Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have an associate degree or an equivalent combination of training and relevant professional experience. Prior administrative, executive support, office management, or nonprofit experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail. Candidates should be friendly, patient, approachable, and able to interact professionally and compassionately with diverse stakeholders.

The role requires the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to quickly learn new technology systems are also required.

Experience working with survivors of domestic violence is preferred. Compassion and sensitivity toward survivors is required. Spanish language proficiency is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a voluntary employee retirement plan; paid vacation and holiday leave; and professional development opportunities.
