Your Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join KPMG's Leadership Support Team in Hobart on a full-time basis.

Supporting the Tasmanian State Chairman & Geographic Lead Partner, you will be a trusted advisor and key business partner, enabling leadership effectiveness through high-level executive support, stakeholder management, client engagement, event coordination and office operations.

This highly visible role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong relationships and delivers exceptional service.

 

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Leadership Support

  • Provide high-level executive support, including complex diary, meeting and correspondence management.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials and meeting documentation.
  • Coordinate leadership activities and stakeholder interactions across government, industry, education and corporate sectors.
     

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners and community stakeholders.
  • Support business development initiatives, client engagement activities and proposal processes.
  • Maintain CRM records and coordinate client meetings, networking opportunities and follow-up actions.

 

Events, Engagement & Office Operations

  • Plan and deliver internal and external events, leadership visits and employee engagement activities.
  • Support office communications, culture initiatives and community engagement programs.
  • Coordinate workplace services, office operations and facilities to ensure a seamless experience for employees, clients and visitors.

 

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with local and national teams to support business priorities and special projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture.

 

Your Experience

You will bring a combination of the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience supporting senior executives, partners or leadership teams in a complex professional services or corporate environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging at executive level.
  • Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, travel and leadership activities.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams).
  • Experience with CRM systems and business management platforms (desirable).
  • A positive, adaptable and collaborative mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
