The Role
We're seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support our Head of Ecosystem. This role is essential in enabling our leadership to operate at maximum efficiency and focus on high-impact ecosystem growth initiatives. This role reports to the Aptos Foundation.
Responsibilities
- Calendar & Meeting Management: Proactively manage and prioritize the Head of Ecosystem’s schedule. Coordinate internal and external meetings, including partner, community, and cross-functional team syncs.
- Communication Support: Draft and organize communications, agendas, briefing documents, and follow-ups. Ensure timely responses and prep the Head of Ecosystem for upcoming engagements.
- Project Coordination: Help drive key initiatives forward by tracking deadlines, action items, and dependencies across ecosystem efforts.
- Event & Travel Logistics: Organize travel, accommodations, and conference registrations. Assist with event planning when the Head of Ecosystem is hosting or attending.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between the Head of Ecosystem and both internal team members and external partners, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Strategic & Operational Excellence: Identify ways to streamline systems and processes, helping scale the effectiveness of the Ecosystem team.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the utmost integrity and professionalism.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting executives, ideally in startups, tech, VC, or web3.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-starter attitude with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change in a high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with (or a strong curiosity about) blockchain, crypto, and the web3 ecosystem.
- Proficient with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, Zoom, and project management platforms.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience supporting ecosystem, partnerships, or community-facing execs.
- Experience in decentralized environments or open-source communities.
- Strong network in the crypto/web3 space.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 - $129,600. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for the position of a candidate based in the Bay Area at any level. We do hire exceptionally talented professionals with decades of experience in their field. As such, our range may be higher than what is displayed. Our base salary ranges are determined by experience and location, and we hire at all levels for multiple roles. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills demonstrated during the interviews, working experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include equity, tokens, or benefits.
