Purpose of the role
To manage the executive's schedule, handling correspondence, preparing presentations and reports, and providing other administrative support as needed.
Accountabilities
- Management of senior executive members calendars and overseeing their timely responses to meeting invitations and requests.
- Planning and arranging travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation, ensuring timely and efficient travel for the executive.
- Proactively anticipating the needs of the senior executive, prioritising tasks, and ensuring timely completion.
- Management of day-to-day administrative tasks, such as expenses, maintaining filing systems, and ordering office supplies, annual leave records management, distribution list management and organisation management tasks.
- Management and facilitation of senior executive members meetings.

In this highly visible role, you will serve as a trusted partner responsible for managing complex executive priorities, coordinating high-profile meetings and events, and ensuring seamless operations across a fast-paced government affairs function. This position offers unique exposure to the intersection of banking, public policy, regulatory affairs, and government relations. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate competing priorities while building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Prior experience supporting executives on Capitol Hill, within government relations, or in a public policy environment is strongly preferred.
To be successful as an Executive Assistant to the Global Group Head of Strategic Policy, you should have:
Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings across multiple stakeholders, and effectively handle competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience supporting senior leaders within Congressional offices, government relations teams, public policy organizations, trade associations, or related government affairs functions.
Experience utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Concur, Workday, and other business technologies to support executive operations and administrative processes.
Other highly valued skills and experience include:
Ability to decipher and coordinate domestic and international time zone differences while managing executive calendars and travel schedules
Experience supporting departmental budgeting activities, expense reporting, invoice processing, and financial tracking
Prior experience supporting executives within banking, financial services, regulatory affairs, or public policy-focused organizations

This role is based in Washington, DC.
Minimum Salary: $74,000
Maximum Salary: $110,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
