The Senior Executive Assistant role is a position that requires the ability to interact in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The ability to learn, retain, and understand the company’s corporate structures are important to provide the level of support and knowledge necessary to complete daily tasks. 

To be successful in this position, you must enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a diverse group and be able to work effectively in a multi-task environment that requires strong organization and communication skills with focus and attention to detail.

The role will be based out of our San Francisco, CA HQ (Hybrid model).

What you’ll do:

Redis' CTO organization operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, with team members distributed globally and working remotely. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and executing logistics for on-site and off-site meetings, team dinners, and special events
  • Applying strategic, analytical, and critical thinking to support a wide range of initiatives
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CTO, including managing complex and dynamic calendars with strategic time management and cross-functional coordination.
  • Coordinate and manage executive leadership meetings end-to-end—scheduling with a strategic lens, booking rooms, arranging catering, attending as needed, capturing key takeaways, and driving timely follow-up on action items.

  • Identifying and driving process improvements or behavioral shifts that strengthen alignment, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Providing full administrative support, including preparation of PowerPoint presentations and Excel reports
  • Coordinate travel arrangements with the expectation of heavy travel and significant changes on short notice.
  • Assist with creating and modifying presentations.
  • Manage and reconcile expense reports, purchase requisitions submissions, and contract submissions.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of discretion and professional acumen.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, conferences, and teleconferences including various lunch meetings and training sessions.
  • Work effectively with other teams when necessary to streamline departmental workflow and communications.

What will you need to have?

  • 6+ years of experience directly supporting a senior executive in a global organization.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, partners, customers, supervisors, suppliers, and all visitors to the organization.
  • Ability to complete multiple diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Professional writing skills which reflect correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, composition, quality, and a fluent vocabulary.
  • Ability to anticipate approaching problems and establish strategic plans for future success.
  • Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
  • Effective time management, project management, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain security and confidentiality of information, demonstrating discretion, professionalism, personal ownership, and attention to detail.

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $108,089 – $155,000 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis’ total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions. Redis utilizes market pay data to determine compensation, so posted compensation ranges are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
